| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | APRIL 2021 | 3 General Manager's Message By Rick Ruth, CMCA This year's Annual Meeting on April 28 at 10 am and 1 pm will be held to elect three Directors and a fourth to fill a vacancy. Due to the possibility of the COVID restrictions still being in place, the meetings may be held via Zoom. The 10 am meeting will allow the Board of Directors to open the meeting, allow the Inspector of Election to establish a quorum, call for nominations from the floor, close the polls, and conduct any other association related business as needed. The meeting will then be adjourned to allow the Inspector of Election, Nominations Committee, and the volunteers adequate time to open the green and white envelopes. The volunteers then count and tabulate the votes for the Inspector of Election, who will certify the results. You are welcome to log in to the 10 am portion, but we want to let you know the difference between the two times in case you have commitments in the morning. The meeting will re-convene at 1 pm. If you received a ballot and haven't submitted it by the time you are reading this, please do so by 9 am, April 28 so it can be included in the count. We appreciate everyone's participation in this important event to see which three members will represent the association on the Board for the next two years. Whether you voted for the persons elected or not, please take a moment to congratulate them for volunteering to serve the community. It is a very big commitment of time and energy and we express our gratitude for being willing to step up! I hope that by the time you are reading this, we will have received the green light from the health department to open up more of the facility. Wouldn't that be nice? In the meantime, please stay safe and don't forget to wear your mask when entering The Lodge. If you haven't signed up to receive our emails, please contact Tracie Rodgers during weekday business hours. Improving your home or planning on painting or landscaping? Please take a few minutes and reach out to Maria Donti at (951) 325-8188 during weekday business hours. Maria can help you begin the approval process. A few minutes going over your plans or the approved paint schemes will save you time, money and aggravation (if you make an improvement before you receive approval from the Architectural Review Committee). Lastly, please check the curb drains in front of your home. Are they mossy? Is water always coming out the drain and running down the street? If so, your irrigation timer needs adjusting. The HOA and the Board are making a big push to correct this; excess water is affecting the asphalt in many areas. We are also addressing the common area sprinkler over-spray with the landscape vendor. We are working on the next phase of repairs to our 20+ year old asphalt which will include crack filling continue seal coat warranty work throughout. We will keep you informed when we get the schedule. Have a safe month! Happy Easter!
