| OHCC LIVING | APRIL 2021 | 25
It's been a year since we were able to gather together. Now, with
vaccines available, and the numbers moving in the right direction,
our spirits are brighter and our hearts are feeling the presence of that
light at the end of the tunnel… and we are GRATEFUL!
I wrote last issue about the holiday stockings program for Camp
Pendleton and San Pasqual Academy. I mentioned that we were
getting things organized. WELL – take a look at the pictures! These
are the efforts of only three of our Sewing, Etc. members. Carolyn
Kopper, Marilyn Milligan, and Kathy Moskovitz's accomplishments
are shown here, but many, many more have contributed, and all the
recipients will enjoy these gifts from the heart. Thanks to all of our
"overachievers!"
Our meetings are on the first Thursday of the month at 9:30 am on
Zoom, and the Zoom "chat" on Friday at noon has helped us keep in
touch during this year. Whether you sew, crochet, knit, quilt, or just
want to see what's going on with us, you are all welcome.
If you are interested in participating in our activities and are
not sure who to reach out to during this time, please call Chris
Sanderson (858) 442-1834, or MaryLu Belisle (952) 454-1931 for
more information. Also, please visit our website, lovingly updated by
Terri Eckhardt, http://ohccsewing.wixsite.com/ohccsewing.
All are welcome to join us. Dues (normally $7 per year) for all
2020 members are waived for 2021, due to the shelter in place orders
and our facility shutdown. We look forward to seeing you in person
when life gets back to normal, but meanwhile, we'll be Zoom-ing!
