FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JUNE 2021 43 We held our Cars & Coffee gathering on Saturday, May 1. Unfortunately we did not have the large turnout that we had last month. Nevertheless, those who did show had a wonderful time discussing cars and "stuff." Allen Harvins showed up with his two corvettes — an all original white 1984 C4 Corvette that he has owned since 1992 and his 2001 C5, 6 speed, black convertible, which he has owned since 2019. Allen has lived in Four Seasons for 16 years. We also had a visit from Jacque Sneddon and Howard Levin. Both Jacque and Howard are members of the Four Seasons Photography Club. They informed the Cars & Coffee group that they would like to conduct a photo session of the Cars & Coffee and their owners. Everyone welcomed the opportunity to have their beloved rides photographed. A time and place will be established at a later date. If anyone is interested in participating, please contact Jacque Sneddon at jacquesneddon@gmail.com. FYI Cindy Graves and I have started discussing plans for our Fourth of July parade. It is never too early to start planning. Last year was fantastic but we want to go bigger and longer this year. Classic cars and trucks, 4x4s, newer cars and trucks, foreign and domestic, motorcycles, golf carts, e-bikes… if it has wheels and is motorized, it is welcome. Starting time and place will be established at a later date. Come and join us the first Saturday of each month at 9 am at The Lodge parking lot. For additional information, please contact Rick Morales at (951) 797-3732 or onemth53@yahoo.com or Frank Morales at (951) 203-4578 or fmoralesjrinc@aol.com. Until next month everyone please stay safe and healthy. ~ Frank Morales Travel Group The travel situation in California is starting to look rosy, or rather orange and yellow. California has done better in combating COVID than any other state. It has the lowest per capita rate in the nation. If the trend continues, the state is expected to fully reopen by June 15. That means that the Travel Group can start up again. However, we have a lot of planning to do. I have been in contact with vendors to obtain information on possible outings, spoken with Activities Director, Cindy Graves, to secure a meeting space, and all TG members were sent an email asking for information on travel preferences. There is a lot of work to do to get back in full gear. As of this writing, everything is still in process. Watch your email, the Travel Group Facebook page, and the Daily Report for updated information.
