Welcome back to playing horseshoes once again! We began the last week of April, the 28th to be exact.
After more than a year of no action, it was nice to get back to the game. It was also a pleasant surprise
to see how well the grounds of the horseshoe venue were kept up through all that down time. All we
had to do was rake the pits a little bit, which is normal each week, and we were ready to play. It was a
little bit surprising that the first throw in competition for 2021 was a ringer, nice way to start the whole
thing off once again. We're looking forward to some increase in participation going forward and we
want to invite new members to come out and enjoy the fun we're having. We meet every Wednesday at
9 am at The Summit. The view from our venue is absolutely spectacular. Oh yeah, who threw that first

Horseshoe Club
Anticipated start date for pool volleyball is June 21, 2 to 3pm
at The Courts pool. Our guidelines: weather needs to be over 75
degrees, water temperature is a comfortable 84 degrees, and we
use a light-weight ball. Dig out your swim apparel, sunglasses,
sunscreen, and be ready for June play. As a suggestion, if you
do not work out on a regular basis, you might want to consider
strengthening your upper body so when you hit the ball over the
net, we have no shoulder injuries. Looking forward to seeing
