Sun Lakes Quilters Sew What? Club Hey all you crafty crafters! Drop in any Monday in the Multipurpose Room of the Main Clubhouse between 1 and 3 pm and check out what we are doing. We are back in full swing and so happy to be there! We have missed many of the members of our group and are so delighted to see them again, as they are slowly coming by to join us once more, even if it is just to say hello. Do you have a craft project you have been working on during this quarantine? Why not bring it in and join the gals in our group to get it completed. Everything is more fun when you can work with others around you. Before you know it, you have a finished project! Our normal schedule saw us having birthday lunches the second Monday of each month and it looks like we may be able to start that again this month. It is a part of our group's routine that is enjoyed by all of us and a chance to visit with so many. Please contact either Elaine Perkins at (951) 334-3119 or Sallie Flesher (951) 902-9768 if you have any questions about the Scrapbooking group. There is no fee to join. Scrapbooking Sew What? Club started up! It's official, we can gather together once again. It was so nice to reconnect with many of our ladies on May 4. There were seven of us, which included one new resident, who were able to attend; however, no sewing was accomplished as we all just needed to catch up and hear how everyone had faired during the shutdown. So please, anyone who is interested in our group, join us on Tuesdays from 12:45 to 2:30 pm in the Main Clubhouse Arts & Crafts Room. We'd love to share our projects with you. Remember, everything we make is donated to local places in our area. Seat Cover Group Now that it's getting summery out again, our car seats will get got and sticky. We have found a solution for that. Please join us Mondays from 8 am to 6 pm, where we learn to sew fancy seat covers. We do not want any regular seat covers; we want covers that will make a statement. What is a better way to make your Camry a little more lavish and elegant, but with some fabric and lace. Join us with your sewing machine, fabric, extension cords, thread, and thimbles. To RSVP please email Rococoandoverelaborate@gmail.com. ~ Igotta Noshame
