| OHCC LIVING | AUGUST 2021 | 35 Bocce Club The Bocce Club sponsored the bank-shots only Harvey Wallbanker Tournament in June and hosted our first awards ceremony with a picnic lunch court side after our first official Wednesday afternoon Drop-In Play. Fun was had during the tournament where players and fans enjoyed a Harvey Wallbanger cake and sampled the famous drink of the same name. The no coaching rule was amended to allow help for those not as experienced in knowing how to line up their shots. Third place went to Mark Feinman and team — Del Mank, Ralene Friend and Joan Chunka. Fourth place went to Jackie Windes and team — Klaus Waiblinger, Peter Keilbach, and Marc Amine. Plans are underway for Casino Night in October and at least one more tournament this year. Classes are available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10 to 11 am with one exception being that the Aerobics Club does not meet on the second Wednesday of each month. The classes are an all standing, low impact exercise with no jumping. Instructor Christine Alesiani guides the class through a warmup, aerobics, a cool down, and a few minutes of work with weights. The instructor usually adds a couple of exercises for balance and an easy and fun dance. The cost is $5 per class. Having exact change is requested and appreciated. You can pay for and try two classes without joining the club. The annual dues are $6. A check can be turned in at the front desk of the Clubhouse. Aerobics Senior Fitness Club is back in business with our chair Yoga instructor Cheryl Todd. All are welcome to join us Monday and Wednesday, 11:15 am to 12:15 pm in the Hall. No dues are required until January 2022. Just pay $5 for any class attended, which goes to our instructor. Senior Fitness Club
