chorale photography See you in September! We are on hiatus but that doesn't mean you should put your cameras away. Summer is the best time to take family and vacation pictures! At the meeting on Sept. 9, 7 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room, you can bring your summer pictures and/or your shots from the photo trip to the Orange Empire Railway Museum. There will be more details to come about the September meeting. Don't forget Lifestyles challenge to take fun pictures of Sun Lakes during the summer months. Have a fun summer! On Thurs., July 18, we are pleased to bring to you, for the second time and for one performance only, a special evening of entertainment by Team Broadway in their latest production, "Let's Go to the Movies!" This show features high energy, extremely talented children and teenagers. Join us as they sing, dance and act their way through some of the most beloved songs ever to grace the silver screen! The result is a pretty amazing evening of fun and entertainment for all involved. This skilled group of students, ranging in age from five to 18, is taught and directed by Michael Milligan of Banning. Michael trained at Broadway Expressions School of the Performing Arts, RCC and the Inland Pacific Ballet, where he is also a soloist in the company. He currently teaches dance and musical theatre at the Loma Linda University Drayson Center, and directs, choreographs and performs in productions throughout the Inland Empire. Team Broadway also includes several musicians, led by Michael's sister, Lisa Yarbrough, who is the Chorale's gifted former accompanist. Also included in the team are Michael's assistant and fiancée, Kelsey Tanaka, and brother, Aaron Milligan, as well as many other behind-the-scenes helpers and parent chaperones whose involvement is very much appreciated! Tickets for Team Broadway's production will go on sale Wed., July 3, from 9 am to 2 pm daily in the Main Clubhouse Lobby. Ticket prices are $5 for adults, $3 for children 12 and under, and $15 for a family of four or more. Show time on Thurs., July 18, will be 7 pm in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom, theatre seating.
