Sat., Sept. 18, the Woodchucks Club is inviting the OHCC Community to partake in the Flea Market "Driveway" Extravaganza. Join the community for lots of fun and great deals. Everything should be gently used or new and priced to go home with someone else! There will be no entry fee for sellers. Please contact the Clubhouse front desk at (760) 758-8772 to let us know if you will be selling, no later than Sept. 13. The Clubhouse front desk will provide a map with addresses of sellers and include a brief description of the items being sold. Let's face it, it's time to "let it go." Concert on the Green This event has been canceled due to the Golf Course renovation. Flu Shots Flu shots will be given Sat., Sept. 25 from 8 am to 4:30 pm at the overflow parking lot. You'll be able to drive through via your car or golf cart. Please contact the Clubhouse front desk at (769) 758-8772 to schedule your appointment. Residents will be required to bring a completed form for Walgreens, their insurance cards and Medicare card. You can also pay for a flu shot with a check or exact cash of $30. Craft Fair Sat., Oct. 29, the Papercrafting Club will be hosting a craft fair in the overflow parking lot. For more information, please check out their article in this month's issue. Halloween In celebration of Halloween, Fri., Oct. 29 from 1 to 3 pm. Be prepared for Chris Bessey to "Drac you up." Veterans Day Thurs., Nov. 11. Woodchucks Annual Toy Drive Sat., Nov. 13 in the overflow parking lot. Choral Holiday Concert Sun., Dec. 12. Holiday Golf Cart Parade Tues., Dec. 14. Concert on the OHCC Clubhouse Palm Court, Third Friday of the month, 6 to 8 pm We're the Villagers and you may have heard about us playing our driveway concerts on Corinthia Way during our extended COVID isolation. We've gotten permission from the Rec Department to provide music for a wider audience at the Clubhouse every month. We're looking forward to playing for you on the Palm Court. Put on your dancing shoes, pack up your dinner and beverage of choice and come listen to our live performances. They're free and open to all residents. You'll be dancing to everything from Jazz and Latin, to Country and the Beatles, and all the other golden oldies over the years. There's something for everyone, including line dancing! We love playing for our fans and hope you'll become one too. Come on out to meet us.
