Garden Club
The guest speaker for our upcoming Sept. 8 meeting is Susan
Nessel, a Gardener Consultant for Armstrong Nursery at the Rancho
Penasquitos location. Susan will speak about vegetable container
gardens. As always, there will be a Question & Answer time at the
end of Susan's talk. Join us if you can. All are invited.
The remainder of this year includes our annual plant and garden
art sale at the Ocean Hills Flea Market. We hope you will stop by
our table and shop. Next, we will be assisting the Woodchucks with
their annual Toy & Food Drive for Camp Pendleton families. Finally,
we will close out the year with our ever-popular Holiday Luncheon
Fashion Show in December. Watch for details next month.
If you are thinking of joining the Ocean Hills Garden Club, we
would love to have you. We meet on the second Wednesday of each
month. Every meeting starts with social time, followed by a local guest
speaker with expertise on various garden-related topics. Members
also receive a monthly Garden Club Bulletin with wonderful tips and
resources related to gardening. To join for the remainder of 2021,
make your check for $5 payable to Ocean Hills Garden Club and drop
it off at the Clubhouse Front Desk. All residents are welcome!
