28 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2021 Now it is October and all of the plans we talked about in September did not quite happen in September because, as we all know, things take longer than we hope. Additionally, the articles are written early in the month prior to publication so we are just guessing and anticipating and predicting what might be completed by the time you read this. I can now say that the shade structures are definitely completed. We are getting great feedback that they turned out nicely, and make the area even more attractive. They were designed and installed by our vendors who also installed shade at The Courts pool. The posts are painted steel, meant to last for years, and they meet our HOA standards and requirements for community facilities. If you want to check them out, the Corral is located on the exit side of Breckenridge. We are looking forward to enjoying them in the upcoming fall months as they will provide a comfortable area for dog parents to sit and watch their pups enjoying the park while they share their latest dog stories. (Notice the concrete bases for each post - this is specially designed for a dog park to prevent rust where doggie legs are lifted.) We also expect the Puppy Playground modules to arrive by mid- October. This will be an added feature that our local public dog parks do not have. We are looking forward to watching our dogs enjoying the tunnels, stairs, and ramps and seeing the results of the mental and physical stimulation. This equipment will provide a fun place to come and enjoy, and will make our dog park a very special place for our residents and their dogs. Even if you don't have a dog, it will be fun to watch as you are walking by. Our long-anticipated Grand Opening event will be Sunday, Nov. 14, 12 to 3 pm. Stay tuned for more details on this celebration. If you think your dog would enjoy this fabulous, self-funded facility, membership applications are available at The Lodge. Our Community Guidelines require that all dogs who will be using the Corral must be over six months old, fully vaccinated and licensed, spayed or neutered, and covered by the members' homeowners insurance liability specifications. To contribute to the self-funding requirement, there will be a $100 fee per dog for the first year of membership. The renewal fee is $30. Thank you to all who have contributed to making this Corral a success and an asset to our community! ~ Sandra Butler-Roberts, sandirae@ icloud.com Canine Corral Council Teri and Jeff Davidson enjoy the shade with Kona, Jagger, and Rocket Shade structures in the large and small dog areas
