FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2021 65 On Oct. 27 we will be heading out for a two-day ride to Jacumba. In case you aren't familiar with it, Jacumba is a very small town along the southern border of California, about 80 miles east of San Diego. This will be our fourth year in a row making this fun two day ride because the route makes for some very enjoyable riding. Day one will take us to Julian for lunch and then on to Pine Valley where we will stop for the night. This first day of riding will be only about 130 miles so we will get to Pine Valley by early afternoon allowing for plenty of time to kick back and relax. Day two will be about 200 miles that will get us to Jacumba via Old Hwy. 80 and on to Ocotillo. We will then work our way to Borrego Springs for lunch and then head home. Although this is a relatively short two-day ride totaling only about 330 miles, it makes for a very leisurely and scenic ride. So far, we have six members signed up for this ride and there is always room for more. So if you ride and would like to get in on the fun, consider becoming a member of the Four Seasons Motorcycle Club (MC). We aren't picky about your style of ride. Our club consists of full touring rigs, adventure bikes, sport tourers, cruisers, and even a trike. We also ride every Thursday (weather permitting). Joining us on a Thursday ride is a good way to become familiar with the MC. These weekly rides are usually 150 to 250 miles in length, depending on the route, and include a stop for lunch. If you would like to learn more about the MC, please call our club president Terry Humble at (909) 706- 2298, club VP Jim Ayala at (951) 392-6259, or Secretary Joe Bert at (909) 767-1484. ~ Jim Ayala Motorcycle Club Tim Mixon, Terry Humble, Jim Ayala, Bonnie Pollett and Bill Steele heading out on a recent Thursday Tim Mixon on his Harley Davidson Road Glide.
