Garden Club
The guest speaker for the Oct. 13 meeting
will be Master Gardener, Sharon Reeve. She
will speak on Native Bees of California and
how to encourage them to our gardens. As
always, there will be a Q&A time at the end of
Sharon's talk. Come learn about the benefits
and delights of native bees. All are invited.
Thank you to those who came to our
plant sale at the Community Flea Market in
September. We were happy to see so many
people find plant(s) and/or yard art to enhance
their own gardens. It was a fun, interactive
day for a good cause. We appreciate all the
volunteers and the community support.
On Nov. 13, the Garden Club will assist the
Woodchucks with their annual Toy & Food
Drive for Camp Pendleton families. And
finally, as 2021 comes to a close, we have our
ever-popular Holiday Luncheon Fashion Show
on Dec. 8. Watch for details soon for both of
these events.
Reminder: Club dues for the remainder of
2021 are only $5. Also, if you have tech skills
and/or are interested in being trained as a
videographer for the Garden Club, we need
