34 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | NOVEMBER 2021 | Country Western Dance Our Monday line dance lessons are going well. We are having better than expected attendance. It seems that many are happy to finally get out and do something after so many months of inactivity. The November lessons are in the South Clubhouse on Monday, Nov. 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 from 7 to 8:30 pm. The Nov. 29 lesson will be the last one for 2021. We will restart lessons on Mon., Jan. 10, 2022. We are still planning for our traditional Holiday Dance in the Ballroom on Mon., Dec. 6. This will start at 7 pm. We will try to make this a no stress event so you can enjoy some holiday music and good company along with festive decorations. All members of the International Dancers of Sun Lakes were proud of our ladies who participated in the celebration of Stagecoach Days in Banning on Sept. 11. The colorful costumes of Folkloric dancers and their instructor, Blanca Martinez, were appreciated by everyone attending. Several IDS ladies hosted our booth on Activities Day in September. Sun Lakes residents enjoyed a Zill dance performed by Donna Kissling and Victoria Simanton. A lovely Hawaiian dance was performed by Diane Avina, Diane Rossovich, Andrea Buchanan, Patricia Juarez, and Lourdes Lena.
