While it is great for owners to be out enjoying the wind in their hair, please make sure that if you are riding an e-bike you follow all applicable traffic laws and safety guidelines. Most importantly, wear a helmet as the new e-bikes are fast and remember to ride defensively. NOVEMBER IS A GOOD MONTH TO… · Reset irrigation timers · Clean shower heads · Check dryer vent for debris · Check weather-stripping DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME – FALL BACK It's almost that time of year again. On the first Sunday in November, Daylight Saving Time is moved back to standard time — a sure sign that summer is over and fall is upon us. So, remember to set your clocks back one hour before you go to bed on Saturday, Nov. 6. More than 600 children had a special Christmas last year, thanks, in a large part, to the residents of Four Seasons Beaumont! You were joined by other retirement communities, schools, churches, businesses, service clubs, and many members of the community to fulfill the Christmas wishes and fill the stomachs of more than 200 families within the Beaumont Unified School District. Beginning Tuesday, Nov. 2, the Winter Wish Program is again asking for your compassionate participation in the 2021 Winter Wish Gift and Food Drive. To participate in this year's gift giving, simply select a paper tag and check the tag out with the attendant at The Lodge front desk. Then return the wrapped gift with the attached tag you chose to the attendant no later than Wednesday, Dec. 1, at 5 pm. There will also be a food donation collection box located in the lobby. Winter Wish is a program under the umbrella of Soroptimist International of Beaumont-Banning. If you have any questions, please contact Pamela Dopf at bdlalm@aol.com. ~ Pamela Dopf Winter Wish
