Pet Lovers Club President Ellen Kippel
encourages all PLC members to come to our
Annual Board Meeting: Sat., Nov. 6, at 9:30 am in
the Lamia Room. Refreshments will be provided.
We always make holiday donations to worthy pet
organizations and members help in making those
choices. Membership fees are $6 per person and
$10 per family. Checks may be made out to OHCC
Pet Lovers Club and left at the Clubhouse front
desk.
In the interest of safety, the club bought small
flashing lights to attach to a dog's collar or harness.
These are unobtrusive, can be worn all the time,
and turned on easily by pressing the light. The
flashing lights are remarkably noticeable after
dusk and can help keep your pets - and YOU safer
from drivers who may not be paying attention or
see well around dusk. We will have lights for sale
at the meeting. The cost of a light and replacement
battery is $1 for PLC members and $2 for non-
members. Think about getting some for friends or
family who don't live here but have dogs they walk
late in the day.
