Bring a dish to share with eight to 10, your own utensils, dishes and beverage of your choice. We will have hot water, instant coffee, tea and ice. Tickets for the raffle are two for $1. Behind-the-scenes with Kristine Chilcote, Four Seasons Players Stage Manager… Four Seasons Players is excited to bring you a continuing "behind-the-scenes" journey through the eyes of one of our treasured members, Kristine Chilcote. Kristine has been a member for three years and has found her niche backstage as 4SP Stage Manager. We've asked Kristine to bring our Herald readers along with her as she soon dives head-first into her Stage Manager role for our Spring 2022 Musical. So… without further ado…please welcome Kristine! Take it away, Kristine! My love of "LIVE theater" was what originally attracted me to our Four Seasons Players club. I had no desire to be an actor and was more interested in just being around a group of fascinating characters. I was very surprised to find that the first performance I attended here was a Readers Theater – a dramatic presentation of a written work in script-form. The majority of the actors had their scripts in their hands. This was my first lesson on my journey. My comment to my husband, Gary, was "I guess this is how seniors do theater!" But little did I know there was that and so much more! I soon began attending the monthly Players club meetings - we read scripts together and were encouraged to research more scripts and bring ideas to the group. The Directors talked about their productions, too, which was fascinating. And then came my big break behind the scenes… Cut-scene-applause! To be continued next month! We would like to wish everyone a happy, healthy, and festive Thanksgiving. Our meeting in November is on the 26th in the Ballroom at 2 pm. At our November meeting we will have elections for a new board for 2022. Look for an exciting year to come. Our outing for November is a trip to Redlands to tour the Kimberly Crest Mansion and lunch at Martha's Greens. Ladies are always welcome to join us and see what we have to offer as a fun=loving, active group. For more information please call Lucille Gould at (909) 921-6067. FS Ladies Club
