| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | NOVEMBER 2021 | 23
Just as the pattern for a quilt first begins in the design
stage, so has the formation of this very fun, and exciting
new club! Our members are experiencing a great start
to an age-old pastime. Sept. 2 was our very first official
meeting of sewing together and enjoying the many
aspects of our craft. As a group, we are piecing together
the BoHo Heart pattern by Jen Kingwell and Andrea
Bair, one block at a time. Upon completion, we each
will have a beautiful, commemorative memento from
our club's start.
On Oct. 2 several of us trekked to Old Town, Temecula
for the Valley of the Mist's annual Outdoor Quilt Show.
Along the way, we had fun shop hopping in and out of
four different Quilt Shops, stopping for lunch at Richie's
Diner.
In addition, the weekend of Oct. 9 and 10 was not
without adventure… Idyllwild's Quilt Guild held an
exceptional Quilt Show in Pine Cove, complete with
beautiful quilts, drawings, vendors and a boutique of
unique finds. Stay tuned for upcoming adventures,
excursions and memories to be quilted, as this
passionate group of crafters is never without things
to do, places to go and people to meet!
Anything outside of our regular meetings,
planned for November, will be eBlasted through
Four Seasons email announcements. If you are
not already signed-up, stop by the desk in The
Lodge and add your email address to receive
these very informative communications
regarding what's going on within our
community.
Seasons Quilters meets every first and
third Thursday in the Aerobics Room from
12 noon to 4 pm. All residents are welcome
to attend.
