November marks the end of autumn. This month is a time to remember our Veterans and be thankful for family, friends, and all the good things our lives include. "Give thanks not just on Thanksgiving Day, but every day of your life. Appreciate and never take for granted all that you have." ~ Catherine Pulsifer. The following information has recently been communicated to our residents, but it bears repeating: One of the primary responsibilities of the Homeowners Association Board of Directors is to insure that the money being spent on services for the HOA (residents) is being spent prudently. One of the ways to do this is to analyze services to make sure that the HOA is receiving the proper return for its investment. The best and most efficient way to do this is to review the services being provided to ensure that these services continue to meet the needs of the HOA and its residents. Recently the BOD did a thorough review of the Securitas roving patrol. Currently the roving patrol operates three eight hour shifts for 24 hours per day coverage seven days per week. After review of this analysis, and many extensive discussions, the BOD has made the decision to eliminate one of the eight hour shifts. The shift that is being eliminated is from 8 am to 4 pm daily. This change will be effective Jan. 1, 2022. The review of incidents occurring during this shift only represented 7% of the total incidents reported during the months of June, July and August, 2021. The other two shifts still represent 16 hours of roving patrol and all night time hours will be covered. The new hours for roving patrol will be from 4 pm until 8 am. The BOD has attached some additional information to help you better understand this decision. As in the past, if you have an EMERGENCY dial 911. The roving patrol phone number remains (909) 230-3799. Message from the Board of Directors 2 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | NOVEMBER 2021 | Sincerely, and on behalf of your Board of Directors, Greg Rockvam, Cliff Post, Tony Criscenti, Roxy Snider, Fred Kydd, and Barbra Balser Jim Crase President SECURITY COMPARISON BY COMMUNITY Total number of incidents for June, July, August, 2021 = 161 51.87% of total incidents were for parking warning citations
