| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | NOVEMBER 2021 | 3 General Manager's Message By Rick Ruth, CMCA Did you know that 84 new residents moved in this year? Wow. Close to 100 new residents in the past 22 months. For those of you that are new, and have questions about the community or the goings on, there are several resources available to you. This news magazine that you're reading right now is one of them. Other informational sources are the association's website and of course, the management office. There are plans in the works to host a get acquainted event with the Board and management. It might expand to having committee representatives attend and we'll keep everyone posted. In addition, if you want to view any documents such as the board meeting minutes, financials or the rules and regulations, you can find them on the Four Seasons Hemet website. You can also contact The Lodge office at (951) 325-8188. I received a "Courtesy" letter, now what It means there is a violation at your property that needs addressing. It was generated by either a resident complaint filed or from our routine property inspections. Please feel free to call us or stop by and we are happy to assist you. If you ignore the letter and do not correct the violation, doing so will lead to receiving a second notice or possibly a "Notice of Hearing" letter. A hearing letter means that you are invited to meet with the Board in a closed session to discuss the nature of the violation(s) and to come to an agreement. If not and as a last resort, the Board has the authority through the Enforcement Policy to impose monetary fines and suspension of privileges. We work with hundreds of owners who receive courtesy letters and the ones who contact us, it usually results in the violation or issue getting closed. If the issue is solved from the courtesy letter stage, a lot of administrative costs (letters, postage and envelopes) and time spent sending these can be saved. So, if you happen to receive a letter from us and have questions, please contact us and let us know. Please don't ignore it/us. This holiday season is going to be another really special time at The Lodge. Right after Thanksgiving, The Lodge, garden area gazebo, and the main entry will be decorated with LED lights. The Lodge lobby as well as most of the rooms are always beautifully decorated, even the restrooms! This is what separates Four Seasons at Hemet form our sister communities, and all of you should be proud of that. Each year, a lot of folks give of their time to transform The Lodge into a special place to be enjoyed by all. Thank you volunteers! For those of you that are new owners, you'll be delighted at the transformation. The holiday decorating committee could also use your help. In closing, we've had an increase in residents inviting their guests to visit them (and at the Bistro) and residents are not following the guest procedures. Please register your guests on the DwellingLive website under your property account. We've had guests show up in the lobby and say they're waiting for their friend (the resident). We've also viewed camera footage of residents meeting them at the back gate and activating the gate arm to let them in. Nooooo! ALL GUESTS need to check in at the front gate. You can set up your account to receive an email or text when they are checked in. Please tell them to meet you at your home. You have to be with your guests when entering The Lodge. (R&R's pgs. 9-10.) Let's take a moment to think about the things everyone should be thankful for: health, family, friends, neighbors and the wonderful community you live in. May you and your loved ones have a peaceful and blessed Thanksgiving holiday!
