6 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | NOVEMBER 2021 | Hello, it's "Be Thankful November." I'm already salivating for turkey and pumpkin pie! Of course there are so many more important things to be "thankful" for. Foremost, we made it through months of COVID-19 virus and its restriction, sweated through a record-breaking hot summer, we've reunited on the patio to enjoy several evenings of Mo-Town and soul music, found out that vintage motors and salty margaritas really do go great together! OLE! Sure, maybe everything wasn't perfect 24/,7 but remember those settling Pilgrims had it a lot worse, please take a minute to appreciate how lucky we are to be an American and able to enjoy all our God given things. I'm sure Roy and Carol Brennon (right) are appreciative of Rick Ruth drawing their name at the October BOD meeting for the free "Sunday Brunch for Two." Another thing I appreciate about November is that whoever it is that steals my one hour of sleep in March will finally return it to me on Nov. 6 this year, really been missing it too! Besides, I simply dislike getting out of bed when it's still dark outside! The Bistro committee completed it's fall inventory last month in preparation of fall and holiday parties. Thankfully only a few wine glasses will need to be replaced. We have resolved the problem of our lost table linen supplier. A very energetic, local, sweet, single mom will be supplying us with a great color selection and she does her own delivery and pick-up, and without delivery fee. We are prepared and will be most appreciative of your party reservations, so, please get them made real soon. Watch for Tracie's computer blasts about the Thanksgiving Day special hours, food selections and reservations. Francisco needs to know how many turkeys he needs to chase down and catch for you all to gobble-gobble them up. Also remember the Bistro is always closed on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Many people consider it Black Friday, so if you are out there amongst them shopping the "specials," have fun but be alert and keep safe!
