Friends and family are what life is all about. It is the memories we
create that give us warm fuzzies throughout the years. Traditionally,
we celebrate birthdays three times a year. We had five birthdays to
celebrate this time. We wished happy birthday to Terrie Garcia, Gale
Howard, Joanne Larson, Barbara Boutwell, and Sarah Tsai.
Joanne Larson hosted the event at her house and decorated with
a fall theme in mind. She rolled out the red carpet for us and also
volunteered her husband Lorren to help carry in the gifts, the cakes,
the balloons, and lots of food. We couldn't have had better service.
White cake with raspberry filling, German chocolate cake, and carrot
cake pleased everyone. I took a bucket of Cane's chicken, and it was a
big hit . Everyone else made delicious dishes too.
We greatly missed Carol Mee, Diane Gell, and Cindy Bice. Also, we
are looking forward to our Christmas luncheon and gift exchange. ~
