Billiards Thursday night! Everyone welcome, gents and ladies, any skill level. Beginners included. Sign-ups begin at 4:30 pm, play begins at 5 pm. Contact: Al Boucher - 951.658.5428. Thursdays, 5 pm. Bingo The purpose for the Bingo Club is for residents and friends to get together for an evening of fellowship and fun. Mark your calendars and plan on joining us for an evening of fun. Bocce If you're interested in joining us, bocce is similar to lawn bowling and only takes minutes to learn. Contact: Dave Johnson- 951.260.5963, Tuesday, 6 pm, Bocce Court. Community Craft Fair Club The purpose of the club is to organize and facilitate our community craft fairs to provide an opportunity for residents to exhibit and sell their craft products. The 2021 community Craft Fair will be held on October 9th from 8 am to 2 pm. If interested in the 2022 Craft Fair please contact Suzanne Wade - 951.791.1707, Library Club Our purpose is to maintain the community library located in the hallway outside the Ballroom. Third Tuesday of every odd month, 1:30 pm, Craft Room. Performing Arts Society Presently inactive. Pickleball Club Pickleball is a fun sport and is great exercise. Pickleball is growing worldwide. The court is much smaller than tennis. Four players on a court use a paddle. A wiffleball goes back and forth over the net. We have two courts and play seven days a week. Easy play, Tuesday, 8:30 am. Quilting Club Do you ever feel like you wanted to join a "fun" club? Well here is a very friendly and crafty club to consider, The Quilting Club! You don't have to have great sewing skills or any at all for that matter. On Friday afternoons we have classes on different techniques, on Friday mornings it's free style, where you can bring your machine and sew to your heart's desire. We use the Craft Room from 9 am to 4 pm regularly. On the third Fridays of the month we have a Friendship Meeting where we share our work, ideas for more fun, and learn about each other. As a club we also work on "Quilts of Valor" for our Veterans, and child quilts for "Child Help." It is a group of great ladies with various levels of pool skills, and terrific levels of sisterhood. You don't have to have played pool before to learn how to play. We teach during the games, and it is an ongoing process. During the year, we host a Holiday Party, a Pool Party in the summer at the Reed's pool at their home, and four tournaments. If you are in The Lodge on Wednesday mornings, and hear a lot of laughing, occasional screams of delight or dismay, it is us, Side Pocket Sisters. Come join us. (We do charge exorbitant dues…$10/year). Contact: Edith Reed - 951.392.2131. Wednesdays, 9:30 am practice, 10 am Game Time. Tennis Club Guests are to be accompanied by a resident at all times. Players will meet and play with a variety of partners as our consummate goal is to have fun regardless of skill level, from beginners to seasoned players. To make use of our beautifully maintained courts, we encourage our membership to form their own tennis groups outside of the schedule below. Veterans and Friends Our club is made up of Veterans and non-Veterans who wish to show their appreciation and thanks for our military and veteran personnel for all they do. We also help the needy in the local Hemet/San Jacinto Valley area. This club is open to all SDV residents. Come and join us!
