FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | DECEMBER 2021 29 Facilities Committee The Facilities Committee met in the RCN Conference Room. The Committee first discussed several upcoming projects that are currently out for bid. The projects include shade covering at the putting green, billiard table repairs, shuffleboard court wall, new flagpole at Veteran's Park and handrails at the amphitheatre. The Springdale project, along with the specific community painting projects is still ongoing. A new bid was accepted and will be forwarded to finance. A new AED was approved for installation at The Spa building. A proposal for a new stop sign at the crosswalk on Green Creek was discussed. The proposal was forwarded without support from our Committee. The Facilities Committee is looking for members of our community to join our committee. Please contact me or attend our monthly meetings. The Facilities Committee meets the second Wednesday of the month at 9 am in the RCN Conference Room. ~ Gino Domico, Gdomico@gmail.com Our next event is the biggest of the year — New Year's Eve! Yes, that's right… we are hosting "New Years Eve - All That Glitters." Ticket sales are Nov. 29 at 9 am in the Ballroom. Tickets are expected to sell out, but if we have any tickets left, we will be selling them on Dec. 3 at 5 pm in The Lodge lobby. Ticket price is $65 per person. We will take checks or credit cards, however, there is a fee if you use a credit card. If you are buying multiple tickets, or a whole table which seats eight, you must have each person's name, address, and phone number. On the day of the event, Jan. 31, doors will open at 5:15 pm. The event starts at 6 pm and we encourage everyone to be on time. We will be serving champagne, appetizers, dinner, and dessert. There will be party favors and lots of dancing. Bring extra cash for some outstanding raffle prizes. The Social Committee really appreciates all of your support in buying raffle tickets as this helps us pay for future events. We will also have contests, games, lots of dancing, and an overall fantastic time. Tony Zambrana is our DJ for the night. He is an energetic master of ceremonies and disc jockey who loves to engage with all of the guests. He will be playing a wide variety of music that extends throughout the decades from Big Band to today's Top 40. Join in on some fun and easy interactive dances and both classic and modern line dances. So put on your sparkliest dress or snappiest suit and party with us. I look forward to seeing everyone there. We have already booked some great events for 2022. You won't want to miss "The Classic Rock & Roll Valentine's Party" on Feb. 12. Feel free to dress up in some groovy 50s and 60s duds! Stay tuned for more info. Social Committee really appreciates all of your support. We wish everyone a happy and peaceful holiday season. ~ Loretta Ramsey, lorettaramsey@aol.com, (714) 803- 6744 Social Committee
