4 | LIFE IN SOLERA | JANUARY 2022 | Our New Staff… Welcome to Solera! Loni Peterson is our new General Manager. Her job description is long and extensive. Basically, it is her job to run the show and make sure everyone else is doing their job. She will have significant contact with our Board of Directors, committees, residents, guests, contractors, vendors, outside groups and associations, employees and city staff. Her goal is to manage Solera with policy governance and establish policies that conform to the rules and regulations of an HOA. She was previously employed by the Associa/Desert Resort Management in Palm Desert. She currently is on the Board of Directors of CAI-CV and President of her HOA in Indio. Loni has two sons, 24 and 26. The youngest is in the Navy and her older boy is autistic and a blessing. She says he has taught her infinite patience. Loni is a busy lady, but if you run into her, say hi. She'll appreciate that. Amanda Morgan is our new Recreation Director. She's got the fun job of overseeing programs and activities and connecting with our clubs and committees. Go to Amanda to work out plans for parties, to pass your activity ideas by her, or reserve an Oakmont room. Amanda lives in Banning with her boyfriend and was the Senior Recreational Leader for the City of Banning. Her goal here in Solera is to ensure the residents are happy and having fun. Her favorite pastime is reading historical fiction. She seems like a fun-loving gal so look forward to some exciting events next year. By the way, she loves, loves coffee! Take her a cup now and then. Christina Moore is our new Receptionist. Christina's job is handling the front desk and she will be the one answering the phone and directing calls or answering our questions. She also registers new homeowners and helps them through the process and does the invoicing. Her goal is to continue to grow in her knowledge of our community and get to know our homeowners. Christina lives in Bloomington with her husband. Prior to Solera, she worked for the City of Chino in the Community Services Department and also worked in the Property Management industry as a Community Manager. Her favorite pastimes and hobbies are camping and fishing for trout and catfish at local lakes and spending quality time with her family. She's quite friendly and outgoing.
