RICHARD CROWE
Richard served four years in the
U.S. Navy, 1967-1971, on two
destroyers and, in 1970-1971,
as an advisor on small South
Vietnamese navy ships.
GRAND MARSHAL
PAUL ST. MARTIN
In 1966 Paul St. Martin served
as a U.S. Army paratrooper
with the 82nd Airborne
Division in South Vietnam.
He completed more than 25
missions and was awarded
a Purple Heart for wounds
received.
JESSE DONARDT
Jesse served at an air defense
missile site in Cold War Germany
with the U.S. Army, 1962-1964.
MARTY MANGAN
Marty served in a U.S. Navy
construction battalion ("Seabees")
in 1967 in Da Nang and Dong Ha in
northern South Vietnam. Among
other projects his unit built the
famous China Beach.
BY NATURE OF THEIR SERVICE, MANY VETERANS CONTINUE TO SERVE
Paul has been a community leader in Beaumont for many years. For 16 years, Jesse has provided over
4650 care packages to serving troops around the world. Marty is a Rotarian and involved in many civic
programs. He also hosts the annual fundraising event for Jesse's care package service. Richard is a
former landscape committee and HOA Board member and is currently the Solera Golf Club President
and lead for the Solera History Group.
