Our general meeting on Thurs., Feb. 3 at 9 am in the South Clubhouse will feature a welcome breakfast. Get there early enough so you have time to meet the new members, have some breakfast, and have a great meeting. This will be followed by a scramble round starting at 12:30 pm. Lady Niners enjoy playing on the championship course each Thursday. We enjoy playing from the gold tees. Our first golf round each month is usually a scramble. Then our tournament chair, Charley Vetter, will keep us on our toes playing different types of golf rounds and with different players from our club. It's a great way to meet and know every member in the club. No one is a stranger in this club! Each golf round lasts about two hours which gives you time to get to other commitments you have during the day. The golf rounds usually start earlier in the morning, around 9 am. A potential member also has the opportunity to play up to three rounds of golf with the Niners before joining. We have handicaps which helps to relax and just have fun! Need more information? Lady Executive Golf Welcome to Lady Executive golfers (LEGS)! We are a 9 hole club on the Executive Course. We play weekly on Tuesday mornings with mixed play, fun scrambles, and a monthly tournament. In addition, we participate with other clubs for 18 hole tournaments and "away" games a few times during the year. From October through June, we meet at 8:30 am with tee times at 9 am. From July to October, we meet at 7:30 am with tee times at 8 am. The third Tuesday of each month is our monthly meeting and lunch at the South Clubhouse. Guests are welcome! Saturday Morning Golf Are you still working and looking for a weekend golf option? Are you interested in sharpening your short game skills? Do you enjoy having a relaxed game of golf? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may wish to join our Saturday Morning Golf Group. We play on the Executive Course. Our membership includes men and women with a large range of handicaps. Our members share a love of the game. We have shotgun starts. Most of the year, October through June, the check in time is 8:30 am with a 9 am shotgun. In the summer, July through September, the check in time is 8 am with an 8:30 am shotgun. We hold monthly tournaments, an annual Club Championship competition, and quarterly dinners. Membership application forms are available in the North Pro Shop. Annual dues are only $15. Please contact our Membership Chair, Randy Eden at (951) 292-8125, for additional information. We welcome new members. Executive Men's Golf 2022 has started off with a bang. We had our first tournament of the year – a computer generated two-Man Scramble, sponsored a table at the annual Activities Day where many of you stopped by to chat and pick up a membership form, and managed to re-enroll 114 members by the 1st of January. We would like you to join us. The Executive Men's Golf Club (EMGC) is open to all male Sun Lakes residents who are interested in golf, fun, and camaraderie. All levels of players (beginners to experienced) are welcome. We play every Friday morning on the Executive Course and have a tournament on the third Friday of the month. This month we will meet and check in at the North Clubhouse Pro Shop at 8:30 am for a 9 am shotgun tee time. Come join us! Dues are $56 ($20 for club membership and $36 for your SCGA Membership).
