Mark Leary is the Garonzik Family Professor of
Psychology and Neuroscience at Duke University,
where he is the director of Interdisciplinary Behavioral
Research Center. He earned his master's and doctoral
degrees in Social Psychology from the University of
Florida. Professor Leary is a fellow of the American
Psychological Association, the Association for
Psychological Science, and the Society for Personality
and Psychology. The author of more than a dozen books,
he blogs regularly on personality and social psychology
for psychologytoday.com
