| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | FEBRUARY 2022 | 15 Golf Cart Club As I reported last month, the Golf Cart Club sponsored the Holiday Cart Parade on Sat., Dec. 11. We had a great turn out from both the cart owners as well as spectators. Again, kudos to those terrific decorations. Creativity certainly was the order of the day! It was nice to celebrate the holidays and do a little socializing. I want to again thank Ms. Rodgers and my wife, Donna, for their tireless efforts in support of this and all cart parades. In December, the Flag Angels put out flags along World Cup and Four Seasons for Pearl Harbor Day. They continue to provide this service (over 1,500 flags) for all 1,200 households and the main roads on six special days and just World Cup and Four Seasons on two other notable days. I continue to look/ beg for a few residents to provide backup when one or more Flag Angels cannot perform their duty on one of those days. The job would entail occasionally putting out about 100 of those flags and should take less than an hour to put them out and about 45 minutes to take up. If you can help with this popular and valuable service, please call me at (951) 973-4149 or email mikemcla43@ aol.com); it would be most excellent. ~ Mike McLaughlin Book Club All readers interested in great discussions, occasional guest speakers, and movies, join us the third Monday of every month. Think positive that we can get back to normal soon. Practice some good songs to be ready for Karaoke and a fun time at TGIF again! Bring a dish to share with eight to 10, your own utensils, dishes and beverage of your choice. We will have hot water, instant coffee, tea and ice. Tickets for the raffle are two for $1.
