6 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | FEBRUARY 2022 | Hello and welcome to 'Friendly February.' It may be the shortest month of the year but it has the sweetest and most loving holiday known as Valentines Day. Feb. 14 is your chance to zip some spark in your love life and in an otherwise boring Monday! As of this writing, Francisco hasn't decided on his Special Dinner choices for this loving occasion, but it will be sent out soon; watch your email blasts for details. You don't want to miss it so be sure and make your reservations! I hope you all are still reminiscing about the closure of 2021 and enjoying expectations for 2022. The mandate for masks gave adversity to all on New Year's Eve. I commend and thank our Board for coming up with a very amicable resolution for the evening. The guests who engaged in the evening festivities had a wonderful time. They were served an exceptional dinner with music, dancing, and entertainment. Those who chose to cancel were able to pick up their meals and enjoy them in the safety of their home. The co-chairs for the yearly New Year's Eve Extravaganza are Margie Culton and her sister Patty Jones. Each year, they and their outstanding group of volunteers give boundless energy to their theme choice, then add delicious food, decorations, music, and dancing to present a show-stopping event and evening — right here in little old Hemet. Kudos to all you ladies and helper husbands! I give you thanks from all the happy attendees. We can't wait to see what you'll do for us next year! We received a few very pleasant letters from some very happy Christmas party planners extending their praises to Francisco for their holiday event and dinner. It's always fun to pass on HAPPY news. We must request that you obey the DO NOT ENTER sign at the kitchen door. The door is left open only for the staff 's convenience. Entry is allowed to the staff, management, and Bistro committee members only. All questions, suggestions or other conversation must be done outside of the kitchen. Let's keep the health department happy. Bistro's lucky Sunday Brunch for Two's winner is Sidney Cohen; his ticket, the last for 2021, was pulled on Dec.28, by our very own Ms. Jeanne (Precious) Lincoln.
