Get ready for our exciting entertainment on the veranda this
summer! The Recreation Department will provide one last FREE
evening of wonderful music! We hope you join us as we dance the
night away on Sat., Aug. 31, with "Ricky Bee and the Stingers" from 6
to 9 pm. Please remember it is first come, first served seating and no
outside alcohol can be consumed on the Veranda.
On Sat., Aug. 10, join us on the driving range at dusk (approx.
around 7:30 pm) for the showing of "Skyfall - 007." Bring your
golf cart or a chair and blanket to relax under a 22' tall air screen,
please remember chairs and blankets should be in front of the
golf carts for better viewing. There will be popcorn for sale for $1.
Bond's loyalty to M is tested when her past comes back to haunt
her. Whilst MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and
destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost. Rated PG-13
and 143 minutes long.
Beat the Heat Indoor Movies
On Thurs., Aug. 22, we will be showing "The Odd Life of Timothy Green" from 7 to 8:45 pm. This is
a PG family friendly film, where a childless couple buries a box in their backyard, containing all of
their wishes for an infant. Soon, a child is born, though Timothy Green is not all that he appears.
This is a FREE event to Sun Lakes residents, with theater seating in the Ballroom, and projected
on the stage screen. Please call the reception desk at 845-2191 to make your reservation. We will
be selling popcorn for $1/bag.
