Over the past several weeks, there have been two Celebrations of Life for dear residents. These events were well attended by our friends and neighbors all wanting to join the families in saying farewell to these special people. What a wonderful outpouring of love and support. At the same time, it reminds me that life is short and precious. Make the most of the time you have here and spread love and kindness around as if you might not be here tomorrow. At this time, as a new member of the Board of Directors, we are looking to update and revise, if necessary, the T1, T2, and T4 documents. While reviewing these Rules and Regulations, I am struck by the number of times that there are references to the Association's Conduct Code. One might think that a community of mature citizens would automatically behave with courtesy respect, and appropriate behavior. Unfortunately, that is not always the case. My motivation, as a new board member is to work to promote "harmony" and good will among our residents, particularly in matters of governance. Therefore, I call on all members of the Solera Diamond Valley community to make a conscious effort to communicate graciously with each other at all times. We are fortunate to live in an incredible community filled with individuals who enjoy life and each other. Together we can move forward with peace and unity.
