8 | LIFE IN SOLERA | MARCH 2022 | HOT TOPICS • Permits are required for all exterior projects - front or back. • Each front yard landscape shall have a tree. The front yard tree must be a 15 gallon, or greater. The tree must be five feet in height from the top of the dirt level of the container. • After acquiring a permit, the permit is to be posted in the garage door window during the course of the project. Upon completion of the project, the permit MUST be returned to the administration office. A DRC member will inspect the project, confirming the work was completed as stated in the permit. • Adding pavers or other materials to expand the width of the driveway for the purpose of additional parking is not permitted. • String lights or other "Christmas" lights are not permitted in the front. Rear yard permanent exterior string or rope lighting is allowed under the Pulte patio. Lights shall be white. Colored path and decor lighting are allowed in the REAR yard only. • When your home is on a corner lot, make sure shrubs are trimmed so one can see approaching traffic. Design Review Committee
