54 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | APRIL 2022 | Lady Executive Golf Women's Golf Welcome to Lady Executive golfers (LEGS)! We are a 9 hole club on the Executive Course. We play weekly on Tuesday mornings with mixed play, fun scrambles, and a monthly tournament. In addition, we participate with other clubs for 18 hole tournaments and "away" games a few times during the year. From October through June, we meet at 8:30 am with tee times at 9 am. From July to October, we meet at 7:30 am with tee times at 8 am. The third Tuesday of each month is our monthly meeting and lunch at the South Clubhouse. Guests are welcome! We emphasize fun and socializing while striving to improve our game and become more familiar with the rules of golf. We invite you to join us! The women's Golf Club welcomes all women golfers. We hold weekly games an Annual Club championship, and other special tournaments throughout the year. Our games are played on the championship course every Thursday and the first Saturday of the month. Annual 2022 dues are $60. Game days usually have a $3 charge for prize money. If you have any questions, call our membership director, Diane Spence at (951) 267-3338. We hold a general meeting/luncheon the second Thursday of the month. April events will be five different games: Throw out 3, High/Low net ball, Scramble Draw the Club, Sucker in the Bucket, Front Nine Eclectic. Join us for these fun games. Saturday Morning Golf Are you still working and looking for a weekend golf option? Are you interested in sharpening your short game skills? Do you enjoy having a relaxed game of golf? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may wish to join our Saturday Morning Golf Group. We play on the Executive Course. Our membership includes men and women with a large range of handicaps. Our members share a love of the game. We have shotgun starts. Most of the year, October through June, the check in time is 8:30 am with a 9 am shotgun. In the summer, July through September, the check in time is 8 am with an 8:30 am shotgun. We hold monthly tournaments, an annual Club Championship competition, and quarterly dinners. Membership application forms are available in the North Pro Shop. Annual dues are only $15. Executive Men's Golf Welcome to spring and warmer, longer days to enjoy golf, especially on our SCGA-rated Executive Course. Are you new to Sun Lakes? Do you enjoy playing golf? Are you a beginner to golf but are intimidated by the Championship Course? Are you looking to join a club that is welcoming yet presents a challenge to your short game? If you answered yes to any of these questions, look no further. The Executive Men's Golf Club is open to all male Sun Lakes residents who are interested in golf, fun, and camaraderie. All levels of players (beginners to experienced) are welcome. We play every Friday morning on the Executive Course and have a tournament on the third Friday of the month. Our tournament for April will be a computer generated 4-Man Scramble format. This month we will meet and check in at the North Clubhouse Pro Shop at 8:30 am for a 9 am shotgun tee time. Come join us! Dues are $56 ($20 for club membership and $36 for your SCGA membership). Membership forms are available in the North Clubhouse Pro Shop or on the EMGC website.
