The financials for the month of February 2022 have not been reviewed by the Executive Finance Committee as of this writing, and the following analysis is based upon my own review. February's revenue was below projections by $1,100 mainly due to less interest income from our investments and access fees (charges for new transponders.) Expenses for the month were under projections by approximately $33,000, mostly due to savings from water and contracted staffing costs. Surplus for the month is $66,000. Year-to-date income is below budget by $12,000 while expenses are below budget by $383,000 resulting in a net surplus of $215,000 versus a budgeted loss of <$156,000> for a net difference from the budget of $371,000. The Executive Finance Committee did meet on Feb. 16 and reviewed the financials for the month of January 2022. The specific information detailed in last months' article was sustained by the committee during the EFC meeting. There were no changes or revisions to note. The state of the Association's finances is sound and stable. Although costs for most items have increased over the year to date, the Association has realized significant savings in water use on the golf course, and in contracted staffing costs due to many vacancies. | OHCC LIVING | APRIL 2022 | 5 31 January 2021 Operating Cash and Receivables $ 1,769,000 Reserves and Other $ 3,689,000 Total Assets $ 5,458,000 Reserve Obligations $ 3,632,000 Current Liabilities $ 729,000 Total Liabilities & Obligations $ 4,361,000 Equity $ 1,097,000 February Fiscal YTD Income $ 644,200 $ 7,086,200 Expenses $ 578,600 $ 6,871,300 Net (surplus) $ 65,600 $ 214,900 Treasurer's Report By Bob Fisher, OHCC Treasurer It is recommended and encouraged that if you walk or ride a bicycle throughout the community during low light or no light hours, you wear light colored or reflective clothing, and/or utilize a flashlight to increase your visibility. To avoid a citation, please notify CPS if you need to park a vehicle in your driveway or on the street overnight. Please contact the Front Gate, (760) 758-7111, when unforeseen circumstances arise that prohibit you from safely driving to the Front Gate to pick-up the printed pass to place on the dashboard of the vehicle. This will be annotated in your Dwelling profile so that the vehicle isn't mistakenly cited. If you receive a citation from CPS, but don't receive any correspondence from the HOA management with further instructions, please disregard that citation. When a CPS officer does not follow proper procedures according to the standard established for a citation, then the citation will be voided. This could include but is not limited to the quality of video/photographic evidence or a lack of a supporting incident report. If you have any questions, please contact Scott Lemieux, Community Patrol Services Director at the Front Gate.
