| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | APRIL 2022 | 3 General Manager's Message By Rick Ruth, CMCA The Annual Membership Meeting is Thurs., April 28. This year's Annual Meeting will be held to elect four Directors. A reminder: there are two meeting times — 10 am and 1 pm. Due to the possibility of the COVID restrictions, the meetings may be held via Zoom. The 10 am meeting will allow the Board of Directors to open the meeting, allow the Inspector of Election to establish a quorum, close the polls, and conduct any other association-related business as needed. Once the business is concluded, the meeting will then be adjourned to allow the Inspector of Election, Nominations Committee, and the volunteers adequate time to open the green and white envelopes. The volunteers then count and tabulate the votes for the Inspector of Election, who will verify the tabulations and certify the results. If there are no COVID restrictions, you are welcome to attend the 10 am portion. The membership meeting will reconvene at 1 pm at which time the results of the Directors elected will be announced. Immediately after, the Officer elections process will begin to elect the Officers. Meet the Candidates Night: We are scheduling the MTC night for Thurs., April 7 at 6 pm. If you received a ballot and haven't voted, or are unsure who you want to vote for, this is a perfect opportunity to meet the candidates and get a feel for who you think would best serve your community. The deadline for ballots to be returned in person is April 28 at 9 am. Once the polls are closed on the 28th, ballots cannot be submitted. We appreciate everyone's participation in this important event to see which of the seven candidates will represent the association on the Board for the next two years. Whether you voted for the persons elected or not, please take a moment to congratulate them for volunteering to serve the community. It is a very big commitment of time and energy; we express our gratitude for those individuals willing to step up! Improving your home or planning on painting or landscaping? Please take a few minutes and reach out to Maria Donti at (951) 325-8188 during weekday business hours. Maria can help you begin the approval process. A few minutes going over your plans or the approved paint schemes will save you time, money and aggravation. The Board would like to remind everyone that as of March 1st, owners making any improvements before receiving Architectural approval will result in that owner being called to hearing. Have a safe month!
