This has been a long and complicated two years for our community. I applaud each of you for bearing with all the restrictions and mandates. Our "new normal" will probably be more flexible as we move forward. Periodically, Seabreeze awards company personnel with a Hall Of Fame Award. Seabreeze has over 500 employees. There were 42 nominations received at the corporate office in February. Two individuals were given an award. The BOD would like to congratulate our manager, Irma Rabago, in receiving this prestigious award. She has brought stability and direction for our community. Currently an Ad Hoc Interior Design Committee has been selected and is working on the Ballroom refurbishment; updates will be provided by management. We want to thank all the volunteers who applied for the committee and the hard work those selected will be doing. The BOD and the Finance Committee are working hard on preparing the budget for 2022-2023. We have seen sharp increases in some of our expenses, such as utilities, a minimum wage increase, and vendor costs. The state minimum wage will increase again during next year's budget and will have to be included. Each of these will have to be considered in the upcoming budget. Once again, I am proud to live in our community, enjoying friendships, making new friends, and enjoying retirement as it should be. Thanks to each of you for making this "THE" place to live.
