We had our first quarterly tournament of the year on March 22. We
had a good turnout and some very competitive games. We did try the
Scotch doubles and everyone seemed to like that format, so we may
try it again. Taking first place was Ron Erickson and Scott Frymire.
Taking second place was Paul Snyder and Bob Semler. And a special
recognition to our all lady team of Kim Samuels and Barbara Morton
for their third place finish. Congratulations ladies! And thanks to Bob
Semler for helping with the team brackets.

Wild Bunch Billiards
The Curly Cues play every Monday from 10 am to 12 pm. Our
group continues to grow with not only new members, but we are
happy to welcome back a few of our former players. We always have
a good time and would love to have you join us!
A few of us also belong to the Billiards For Fun group that meets on
Tuesday afternoons. The majority of that group is composed of men,
but we all have a great time together. We are very proud to announce
two of our Curly Cues, Barbara Morton and Kim Samuels, placed
third in the March tournament for this group. Way to go ladies.

BREAKING NEWS… Billiard tables have been re-felted and
leveled! Hope everyone is happy and enjoying the improvement in
your game with the new competition felt and level tables.
We are excited to have a Three-Way Tournament between Four
Seasons, Sun Lakes, and Solera in June. The Tournament will consist
of both 8 Ball and 9 Ball, giving everyone a chance to bring their best
game to the table!
The "Wild Bunch" consists of some of the best players in the
league: Joe Spinella, Bob Rector, Mike Corbett, Carlos Rivera, Scott
Frymire, Dave Martin, Mike Fisher, Paul Snyder, Richard Dipoma,
Gary Condurruci, Verina Rector, and Gracy Luna.
The "Wild Bunch" enjoys playing serious, competitive pool, and
we invite you to come by the Billiards Room Friday afternoons from
12:30 to 3:30 pm and join in the stimulation of competitive play.
