So many people here in Sun Lakes have been looking forward to Perla Williams and the ladies to host their new, one-day only, upcoming show "More Aloha from the Islands. The show will be on Sun., May 22 at 2 pm in the Main Clubhouse. Tickets are $12 and will be sold at the Main Clubhouse Lobby May 9 through 13 and the following week May 16 through 20 from 9 am to 2 pm. The ladies have many new dances and beautiful costumes for you to see, wonderful singers and comedians, too. But wait, there's more! Makua Hula Dancers have also invited special guest performers from outside of Sun Lakes. It will be an afternoon to remember, with memorable Hawaiian Leis handed out to everyone. Doors open at 5:30 pm and we will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo. A brand new band to ICC, Delaney & Jaymes featuring Grammy Award winner Jaymes Felix and his wife and vocalist, Delaney. They will play rhythm and soul classics, smooth jazz, blues and more for our May dinner and dance. Dinner will feature a Mexican-themed buffet along with a vegetarian selection. Sign ups for the event will be on May 5 at the South Clubhouse beginning at 3:30 pm. Please select your meal at the time of sign up. The price for members is $28 and $30 for guests. If you miss the May 5 sign-up date and want to attend the dinner and dance, contact Donna Leone at (951) 797-0832 no later than the following Sunday afternoon. If you are unable to attend the event after signing up, you can request a take-out meal box. Contact Ann Hoefert at (909) 553-3292 no later than 2 pm on the day of the event and she will make arrangements for you to pick up your meal in the Bus Room at 6:15 pm on the night of the event. Membership is $25 per person per calendar year. New members are always welcome with a "try before you buy" opportunity for Sun Lakes' residents. You may attend as a guest once for $30 before joining.
