The more I am here the more I get to experience the incredible talents so many of you possess. Not only in your artistic work but in your generosity of spirit. Sharing your time and expertise to build a better community is a gift that keeps on giving. Personally, the starts and stops have made it difficult to find a comfortable groove, but I think we are really in a better position to plan and party! I hope you are already enjoying the return of Music on the Plaza. I tried to get a good mix of the music that has been requested, we should be having a good time underneath the beautiful umbrella of the Ulmus trees that surround the plaza. The community is looking alive with spring blooms and the new ducklings waddling in tow. I lunch with the song birds and the lizards each day and they are thrilled to be alive and living in this beautiful community. I hope you are taking time to listen to their song or smell the flowers. As we take time to remember our fallen soldiers this Memorial Day, I am touched by the sacrifice and bravery they and their families have given for our country. I know the Flag Angels will make us shine and the Vintage Voices are presenting a concert in memorial. As I have shared in the past I am the daughter of a Vietnam Veteran and I have worked in 55+ communities for the last 20 years. If you or a loved one is feeling lost, stuck, or scared and needs an ear, please reach out for help. www.veteranscrisisline.net The Community Yard Sale is coming together and we will have lots of opportunities to shop. The map will be sent out via email and available at the front desk when it gets closer to May 14. Bocce ball has returned! Another club is being formed for Cornhole and our facility is booming. We also have the beautiful pool and BBQ area getting lots of use. You may even see a blushing bride saying 'I Do" on the plaza. These amenities are here for your enjoyment, please see myself or a Lodge Attendant if you would like to reserve some time for a gathering. 4 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | MAY 2022 | From Your Activities Director By Tracie Rodgers The Access Committee has been working hard behind the scenes to secure your safety and the safety of our community. The Four Seasons at Hemet has a reputation as the most secure, gated community in the Valley. Gate safety to road safety are heated topics in a fast- paced society, but the Access Committee is committed to this community. The Association appreciates the time and care this committee has dedicated on behalf of all residents. Once you get past the hard work from Access, you head right into the area for the next committee - Facilities. Our sports courts have been the envy and model for many of those built around town. The Lodge is kept in good repair and the swimming pool area is the desired outing for grandkids across the states. The pool area and the fitness center were such an important part of the survival of many during the pandemic. Our facilities shine, and it is rare that an item goes unattended for an extended period time. The committee monitors the life of all the items that make up our facilities with monthly inspections and any unscheduled requests for attention. Individuals on all our committees share a common goal, to use their time and experience to better our community and we appreciate all the volunteer's countless hours invested in the Four Seasons at Hemet. Association Appreciation: Facilities & Access Thank you!
