| LIFE IN SOLERA | MAY 2022 | 25 HAPPY MAY AND HAPPY MOTHERS DAY LADIES! This month, the Solera Papercrafter's Group will meet on May 12 and 28 at 1 pm in the Arts & Crafts Room. Mark your calendar for the second and fourth Thursday of every month. Please contact me if you are new to our group so I can add you to my contact list. When you receive a reminder from me, please respond as to whether you will attend or not. I look forward to seeing all of you this month. Have fun creating greeting cards that will bring joy to the recipient. You will need to bring for the first time, two items: a pair of scissors and some type of fast drying liquid glue, or a roll of double-sided tape or a tape runner. I will have items with me you can purchase when you attend. Color is all over the place and there will be a lot of color in our May class! This month is all about FUN Cards and as always these cards could be birthday, friendship, thank you, anniversary, or anything else you desire. I will have all the stamps to make your cards your own, but I'm still doing all the stamping! I do all the designing and everything will be cut and put into kits. On class day, I will give you verbal step by step directions so you go home with 3 perfect cards. We will be meeting in the Arts & Crafts Room on the 5th and the 19th at 1 pm. If this is your first time, the cost is only $10. Can't make it? Kits are available for $11. May 14 is the annual Spring Fling Event. This is an all-day event making cards and spending time with your friends. Continental breakfast, lunch, snacks, welcome bag, small essential store, and lots of surprises will be provided. Flyers are available in the Mail Room or text me for specifics. Space is limited. Please bring a fast drying white glue (I like Tombow) and small, sharp scissors. If you don't know where to buy Tombow glue don't worry, I will have a supply on hand to purchase for $3.50.
