Aerobics Room Floor Update

Another finished project is in the books! After two weeks of
extremely hard work, the Aerobics Room floor is finished. Hemet
Flooring was up to the challenge and did a fantastic job. What was
thought of as a five to seven day project, quickly evolved into a horror
story. The old flooring was nailed down, stapled down, and glued
down. It took almost a week to tear up the old flooring.
Once the old flooring was removed, they began sanding the
plywood under the old flooring. After the plywood was smoothed
out, they applied a thin coat of Fast-Setting, Polymer-Modified,
Cement Based Compound. After this coating cured, it was sanded
to a smooth finish. They then applied a High-Performance, Fiber-
Reinforced Skimcoating Compound. A layer of high-grade plywood
was then laid down on top of the compound. The final steps involved
the application of a Fast-set Urethane Adhesive onto the plywood
and then the American Oak Engineered Hardwood Flooring was
installed.
The flooring has a five-year Commercial Warranty. The pieces of
hardwood flooring measures 3/8" X 3" X 48". The warranty for labor
and installation is one year. The board and management sincerely
appreciate your patience and understanding during this lengthy
process. Please come see the new flooring, and don't forget to wipe
your feet, just like you do at home when new flooring is installed.
