The Solera Golf Club suffered the loss of another member May 1: Chris
Gubby. Chris lost a fight with liver cancer. Chris was born in England in
1948, but, when he was young, moved to Australia with his family. He had
a very successful business in Australia. After Chris met and married his
American wife, Cindy, the Gubbys lived half a year in Australia and half in
Solera, enjoying the endless summer. Chris was a very popular member of
the Solera Golf Club. His was a positive, can do, and friendly to all kind of
personality.
The Solera Golf Club Match Play for 2022 has come down to the final: Tony
Smith v Doug Ascuncion. Stand by for the result!
