Line Dancing for Health!
Line Dancing is a unique form of exercise providing the heart-healthy benefits of aerobic exercise while also allowing you to engage in
a social activity. This is especially stimulating to the mind. A major study added to the growing evidence that stimulating one's mind by
dancing can ward off Alzheimer's disease and other dementia, much as physical exercise can keep the body fit.
CLASS SCHEDULE:
We meet on Sundays from 11 am to 12 pm in the
Oakmont Room. The concept for this group is no
instructor, but fun, free-form exercise with music. We play
music from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. Everyone is having so
much fun while getting fit! I hope you can join us. Just
show up. Bring water and be prepared for fun. For more
info, call Mari Rezinas at (818) 970-6279.
