32 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JUNE 2022 | Golf Club From the President Tom Moore: This month I'd like to focus on our upcoming benefit tournament. After a two-year pause, your Hemet Four Seasons Golf Club has resumed our annual "Community Benefit Golf Tournament." This year's beneficiary is the Hemet Police Department's K-9 Unit. The four-person "Scramble" format is scheduled for June 14 and will be played at the Hemet Golf Course. The Shotgun tee time is 7:30 am and will be limited to 20 teams (80 players). Entry fee is $15 per player ($10 to the HPD K-9 Unit and $5 to the tournament award fund) plus the Hemet Golf Club Greens fees. There will be a Hole-In- One automobile give-away, courtesy of the Gosch Auto Group, and many opportunities to win other valuable prizes, including a 50/50 raffle, and much more. For more information contact Tom Moore at (951) 325-2118 or moore-fun@verizon.net We hope to see you there! From the Tournament Chair Elliot Yaeger: Here is the June schedule. Our start time is 7:30 am for the spring and summer months: • June 7 at 7:30 am: Team: Low Net: 1 Score Par 3s, 2 Scores for Par 4s, 3 for Par 5s • June 14 at 7:30 am: Golf Tournament to Benefit the Hemet Police Force K-9 Unit • June 21 at 7:30 am: Partners: BLIND DRAW… Front , Back or Total • June 28 at 7:30 am: Individual: 9 holes… Choose either your ODD holes or your EVEN holes Golf Cart Club No flag postings until Memorial Day at the end of May. The Flag Angels got a much-deserved rest in March, April and most of May. The Flag Angels will put out flags along World Cup and Four Seasons and each home for Memorial Day. The Flag Angels roster is undergoing several changes. The Dewberrys have stepped up to take over Kelly and Sharon Collier's route, and Glenn and Mary Uhley have stepped up to take Maggie and Bob Fussell's route starting with Memorial Day. Finally, Morley and Jacque Wigley will cover Cecil and Debbie route for Memorial Day. Put Monday morning July 4th on your calendar: the Fourth of July cart parade will take place starting in front of The Lodge at 9 am. Lots of fun and a wonderful way to celebrate the Fourth. If you want to help with the flag angels, please call me at (951) 973- 4149 or email me at mikemcla43@aol.com). ~ Mike McLaughlin Interest Groups Masons: If you are a Mason and are interested in getting together with other Masons, please contact Don Krampe (951) 926-9005. Pet Owners: Four Seasons has many pet owners. I think it would be nice to have a Pet Owners Group to meet once a month to share information about vets, groomers, food, treats, medical issues, pet sitters, and walkers. We may be able to get guest speakers, such as veterinarians, to share important information. If you're interested, please email me your name and phone number to HawkRealtyCA@msn. com or call (760) 519-3449. Thanks! ~ Karen Hirschman
