12 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JUNE 2022 | Dogs (14): The biggest area with seven comments is the concern for residents picking up after their dogs whether in a common area or on private property, particularly noting that Four Seasons Blvd. sidewalk needs to be pressure washed because of all the feces and urine. Two comments suggested Doggie Stations be installed with waste bags and receptacles. Barking dogs (2) and residents walking their dogs in the street or on the golf course (2) were a concern. Finally, there was a vague comment about dog owners deserving a little consideration due to the number of resident owners but did not specify in what way the consideration be shown. Security (17): Most of the comments (14) centered around the importance of "feeling safe" within our gates. The security of the gated community and access control/patrol are valued and residents commenting feel very safe within our gates. Two comments mentioned additional fencing needed where there are holes and that the golf course should secure their gates at night as well. One comment addressed concerned about possible vagrants parking in motor homes just outside our community. Staff (13): Most of the comments (13) were comprised of accolades for The Lodge Receptionist Staff. The staff 's friendliness and customer service are greatly appreciated. Tracie Rodgers (1) was singled out twice as being an asset to our management team. Management and BOD were acknowledged for doing a good job and a thankless one at that. There were seven negative comments. Five commented that the front desk staff could be better trained, and more friendly. Two comments regarding negative interactions with ARC Management Representative and one opinion that when problems are taken to management, nothing ever gets done. Gate Security And Roving Patrol (29): Comments in this section mainly addressed Roving Patrol (13) and Access Procedures/ Personnel Attitude (10). Comments for Roving Patrol included four in favor of keeping 24 hr as it brings comfort to some residents. Only two comments stated Roving Patrol was not needed. Three felt Roving Patrol drives too fast and three also felt that Roving Patrol is not seen patrolling enough. Roving Patrol should also warn residents to walk on sidewalks instead of the streets. Should have two officers patrol The Lodge at night for safety (1). Comments also suggested that the back gate needed to be manned (6). Negative comments (10) of front gate personnel being rude, unfriendly, not acknowledging residents as they enter through resident lane, and improperly following post orders. Traffic (16): Most comments were about speeding (13) with Olazabal Dr. noted twice. Comments noted concerns about accidents that would cause someone to get seriously injured. Many suggest the security company issue tickets, and/or install cameras. Other comments were about drivers not stopping at stop signs. (4) Architectural Review Committee (ARC) (12): Most comments included concerns that the ARC is too restrictive with their decisions (9). Other comments were about expanding the color choices and another suggestion was to create a step-by-step process instruction sheet of what is allowed and not allowed. Another was to create a fast tract approval process for smaller architectural modifications. Bistro (27): Respondents had a variety of concerns and compliments. There were 13 comments for improvement of the Bistro, from offering vegetarian and vegan selections, to including lunch specials and expanding the menu. One comment was to expand the seating options. Six comments felt the prices were too high. There were 12 accommodations. The waitresses were called out as very friendly and pleasant, and Francisco was complimented for his cooking. Others stated that the Bistro added a service to the community that enhances the overall experience at Four Seasons and should always be available. Landscaping (19): There were five respondents expressing their concerns about the Legends landscaping being of poor quality and not up to the standards when the homes were originally built. Comments also include concerns about the gardeners working in the Legends doing a better job. There were three comments about the houses on January and Tewell being in disrepair. Three respondents were concerned about golf course property on the corner of Four Seasons Blvd. and Player being just full of weeds and setting a poor impression when entering the community. Four respondents wanted more benches for walker to rest. Communications (4): Three respondents wanted more communications with email blasts. There was a request for more notice of events to facilitate putting activates on their calendar in a timely manner. Positive (47): The following comments are a sample of the forty- seven positive comments. "We have lived here nine months and just love it here. We have met wonderful people and have enjoyed the Clubhouse and many of the functions here. We are excited that we moved here. Cannot say enough how great this place is. I tell my friends that the longer I live here the more I love living here. I am very happy living in this community. The HOA is very reasonable for the amenities we have. I feel safe and comfortable here. I've resided here since 2003. This place just gets better and better! I remain active and promote many clubs." What a way to spread joy and sunshine. Speed Humps (18): There were 18 comments in all. Eleven respondents with comments of ridiculous, they are a bad idea, and two speed humps on World Cup is excessive. The seven positive comments included more were needed along Four Seasons Blvd., also several respondents felt the speed bumps help control speeding traffic.
