FOUR SEASONS REPUBLICANS: We are not a club. We are a local network that provides information and resources, so that you can make more informed and educated decisions in your selection of candidates and government measures. Our mission is to present information regarding national, state, and local issues. We are in alliance with other regional conservative organizations, including San Gorgonio Pass Republican Women Federated, Unite Inland Empire, and the Republican Party of Riverside County. For more information, contact us at FourSeasonsRepublicans@gmail. com. *Note: The HOA does not have any officially recognized political club or group. However, California law changed and now requires associations to allow political interest meetings in HOA common areas. FOUR SEASONS BLUE: We are a community network working within the democratic process to stay informed on local, state, and national issues. We promote the activities of democratic politics and develop leadership within the community. We are aligned with local Democratic organizations, such as the Pass Democratic Club, Democratic Women of the Desert, Democrats of Hemet-San Jacinto, and the Riverside County Democratic Party. For more information, contact us at FourSeasonsBlues85@gmail.com. What are you doing the second Wednesday of each month at 10 am? Being an informed member of our community is easy. We have the Daily Report on our phones, the Four Seasons website, The Breeze, handouts in the Lobby, and the new digital event boards in the Lobby. But if you really want up-to-date, in-depth information about COVID, crime in the Pass Area, weather, highway construction, future city plans, or news on the homeless situation, you MUST attend the Wednesday morning Neighborhood Watch, one-hour meetings once a month. It is at these events that experts give us the "skinny" on what's going on. Last, month the local fire department came to speak, bringing fire and paramedic vehicles to our parking lot. Information was shared about fire danger in our area, response times and paramedic services. In May, Lt. Commander Hesser of the California Highway Patrol shared fascinating information about the truck scales operation just east of our community on Hwy. 10. Many people have wondered what the scales do, or what (or who) they are looking for when they see those long lines of trucks waiting at the scales. If you missed this opportunity, ask your block captain for that information. Future speakers will be Dr. Singh from San Gorgonio speaking about COVID, multiple speakers about volunteerism in our area, and a representative of the Parks and Recreation Dept. Become an informed member of your community. Make room in your calendar for the Neighborhood Watch programs the second Wednesday of each month. ~ Andrea Henderson, harryandi70@ rocketmail.com Neighborhood Watch & Community Awareness
