44 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JUNE 2022 Karaoke Karaoke continues to grow and everyone is singing awesome. People are also getting very creative in their song choices which provides for more audience participation. The priority has always been to get as many songs in for Four Seasons residents so we changed the start time to 5 pm. We will also be adopting a guest singing policy to ensure that Four Seasons residents take priority so please watch for additional details soon. Karaoke night is held every third Saturday of each month in the Ballroom and karaoke practice is held the first Tuesday of each month at 6 pm so we hope to see you there. ~ Dave Rohrbacker, dave.rohrbacker@icloud.com Step It Up Line Dancing Well summer is here and we've got some dancing to do to get ready for our dance party on June 11 at 5 pm! It will be a potluck and a fun evening of dancing and hanging out with friends! Please RSVP if you'd like to come so I'm prepared with paper products and all. We continue to learn fun new dances and review the older dances as well to many new and different songs. I will be starting a new basic beginner class on June 13 at 12:30 pm in the Ballroom. After that class we roll into our beginner/intermediate class for those that have been dancing for a while or those that catch on quickly. I also have a basic beginner class on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm. On June 15, I'll start over following the same agenda as the Monday class. Our Let's Dance Group is proud to share our recent Monthly Party and Appreciation Night to honor the three couples who were the founding members of the Four Seasons' Let's Dance Ballroom Club nearly 15 years ago. What a joy to share our gratitude with Puring and Gary Stifter, Pam and Loren DuChesne, and Bev and Willis Fagan! We had a great evening of snacks, desserts and drinks, many memories with old friends… and of course DANCE! Following these trail blazers… we are excited to announce our up- coming Summer Fun Dinner Dance Party will be held on Saturday, Aug. 6! Please mark your calendars for this fun evening with live music from American Made and a catered dinner. Tickets will go on sale in mid-June so please watch for further information on the TV screens in The Lodge, plus the Activities Blast and the Daily Report. Our dance for June is Cha-cha, a fun, lively dance with so many ways to express yourself. The music for Cha-cha is always popular. There are many steps and patterns that may be familiar from Rumba, Waltz, and Foxtrot. We meet in the Ballroom Monday with open practice and review from 6 to 6:30 pm. Beginner class from 6:30 to 7:05 pm and Intermediate from 7:05 to 7:35 pm with Advanced from 7:35 to 8:05 pm. The cost is $10 per person and you are invited to stay for entire class.
