| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JUNE 2022 | 33 Country Western Dance Line dance lessons will continue this month. Lessons on June 6, 13 and 20, in the South Clubhouse. For the last session on June 27, we will have our "Graduation." This is where we thank everyone for sticking with it through the year and to dance our favorites with a party atmosphere. So come and have a good time. We are going to make a change in the start time just in June to see how it works out for everyone. The new start time will be 6:30 pm and we will end by 8 pm. Jeann Svarvar and her "lady tappers" in her Beginning Class are learning new dance steps. If you are interested and would like to see what the classes are all about, come by on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 am to 12 pm at the North Clubhouse. The Stardust Dancers Fashion Show for the Garden Club was very successful. Not only was the entertainment good, but the fashions were very, very well-received. Almost 200 people attended the event and all enjoyed the wonderful lunch; the models not only showed their own country western fashions, but modeled Chico's Fashions as well. It was a beautiful day. The charity that was featured was the Set Free Church of Banning. $2,000 was raised for them,to continue their work. Pastor Marshall Jones is the person in charge of the organization. The Sun Lakes Strummers are still strumming, and singing in the Bus Room on Thursdays (except the third Thursday of the month) from 1 to 3 pm.
