| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JUNE 2022 | 55 Women's Golf The Women's Golf Club welcomes all women golfers. We hold weekly games and special tournaments throughout the year. Membership for 2022 is $60. This includes SCGA members. Call Diane Spence at (951) 267-3338 if you have questions about membership. June will be an exciting month with Charity Week golfing events. Consider entering these events. You do not have to be a club member. The club will hold our Eclectic tournament in June. Saturday Morning Golf Are you still working and looking for a weekend golf option? Are you interested in sharpening your short game skills? Do you enjoy having a relaxed game of golf? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may wish to join our Saturday Morning Golf Group. We play on the Executive Course. Our membership includes men and women with a large range of handicaps. Our members share a love of the game. We have shotgun starts. Most of the year, October through June, the check in time is 8:30 am with a 9 am shotgun. In the summer, July through September, the check in time is 8 am with an 8:30 am shotgun. We hold monthly tournaments, an annual Club Championship competition, and quarterly dinners. Membership application forms are available in the North Pro Shop. Annual dues are only $15. Please contact our Membership Chair, Randy Eden at (951) 292-8125, for additional information. We welcome new members. Lady Niners May was a fun-filled month from beginning to end. We started with our Thursday morning golf round and celebrated Cinco de Mayo. What a great time! We finished the month with our Eclectic Tournament followed by a potluck appetizers to celebrate the winners of the three-day tournament. Congratulations to all of the winners. June starts with many Lady Niners participating in the Charity Week events. The Niners sponsor the ninth hole of the Mostro Scramble where we decorate the green with an international theme. Here is where we feature a gift basket for $1 chance and all of the money goes to the Sun Lakes Charity Fund. This is truly a week of fun and togetherness for all of Sun Lakes community. Get out to do as much as you can. Enjoy this wonderful community in which we live. Lady Niners differ from other golfing groups. We play nine holes of golf every Thursday on the championship course. We carry handicaps so we can participate in other golf outings, both at Sun Lakes and away.
