FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JULY 2022 45 Country Line Dancing Our May trip to the Brandin' Iron Saloon was wonderful. Elizabeth gave the DJ a list of approximately 21 songs of dances we know. He played all of them over the three-hour period while we were there. We danced and danced and left ready to sit for a while. We had a fabulous evening with good friends and great country music. Our classes in July will be slightly different from the regular schedule. I am having surgery on my foot in late June and the Westbrooks will be on vacation for a bit. Never fear though, some of our advanced dancers will be taking over by leading the Beginner Class from 2 to 2:45 pm. Doug and Cathe Streuber will be teaching and leading the Intermediate Class from 2:45 to 3:30 pm while I am unavailable. I will be having one more Very Beginner class this year starting sometime in August. This class is for people that know nothing about line dancing. I teach one step at a time and only one or two dances a week. If you are interested, please watch the Daily Report and the Activities Blast for a future announcement of a start date. Hope to see you on the dance floor! For more information please call. ~ Martha Franck, marthafranck@icloud.com, (714) 345- 8588 Let's Dance! It's time for our annual Summer Fun Dinner Dance! The month of July focuses on one of my favorite dances — the Cha-cha. It is a fun, lively dance with so many moves to express your yourself. We meet in The Lodge Ballroom every Monday with open practice and review from 6 to 6:30 pm for those students who would like extra practice at no charge. Regular classes meet from 6:30 to 8:05 pm. The cost is only $10 per person for the entire session. The instructors are flexible and adjust to the needs of the class. Our instructors, Cindy Finley Sugden and her business partner Rhonda Vaughan, are talented and wonderfully trained! We plan to showcase Cindy's experience and accolades in future issues. Cindy is available for private instruction. Feel free to contact her at (951) 682- 8741 or catfine@aol.com. ~ Lisa Johnson Fun at the Brandin' Iron and that's no bull
